It seems as though I'll be deploying in January.
Sounds like it's going to be January - May. I should have more details tomorrow.

Well, the new base I'm at actually gets to deploy, unlike my old base. Thats why I wanted to come here, so I could get my chance. Also, I don't really like it at this base, so I wanted to deploy as soon as possible to get out of here. I still don't have the details, but I should be leaving in early January, coming back in early May. I'll keep you guys updated.

Yea, I remeber all the annoyances you had with getting internet. And you said there was a long waiting list to get better living arrangement? You have any idea where you are going to be deployed to yet?
January to May that's a short period of time. I was under the impression that deployment normally lasted longer. However, I'll admit my knowledge of the military is rather shaky.

Found out I'll be leaving January 17, so I'll probably be offline a few days before and maybe after that as well. I'll be putting my things in storage and traveling during that time, thats the plan right now anyway.

From what I hear, I'll probably be leaving around the week of Christmas. I have been, and will continue to be pretty busy for the next week or so. Hopefully I'll be around more once I get all my out-processing done.
